To reduce traffic congestion and environmental impact, the City of Reykjavík restricts larger commercial tour buses and coach operators from driving through the narrow historic streets of the city center. Instead, the city has established designated pickup and drop-off zones called Tour Bus Stops (Stops 1 to 14).

If you book an airport transfer (Flybus, Airport Direct), a day tour (Golden Circle, South Coast, Glacier Hiking), or a northern lights excursion, your operator will request that you meet them at one of these numbered stops nearest to your accommodation.
